Influence of cooling system temperature on the performance of vacuum pump unit

In summer, the temperature of closed water can reach 35 ℃. Therefore, it is difficult to guarantee the supercooling degree of 4.2 ℃ in the actual operation of vacuum pump. As the sealing water temperature approaches to saturation, its pumping capacity also decreases, until saturated vaporization and loss of working capacity.

The working pressure of the vacuum pump and the pressure of the condenser is a dynamic balance process. No matter how high or low the circulating water temperature is, the suction pressure of the vacuum pump must be lower than that of the condenser in order to pump the non condensable gas from the condenser. Therefore, the sealing water temperature of vacuum pump must be lower than the saturation temperature corresponding to the exhaust pressure.

For example, the vacuum of No.3 unit of a company was reduced because the water in the gas water separator was not changed in time, which led to the vaporization of sealing water in the vacuum pump. A few days later, the test was carried out on vacuum pump a of No.2 unit. After adding 16 ℃ cold water into pump a, the temperature of separator was 16.2 ℃. After starting pump a, the temperature rose to 24.5 ℃. With the increase of temperature, the vacuum decreased. When the water temperature was 30 ℃, the vacuum increased about 1kPa and the current of vacuum pump increased about 0.85a. When the working water temperature drops by 1 ℃, the vacuum increases by about 0.19kpa. It can be seen from the test that it is an important means to ensure the vacuum of the vacuum unit to ensure the lower temperature of the sealing water of the vacuum pump in summer.
