The success of UTROS is built on the efforts of all our members and in this past year, we have enjoyed many successes because of the valuable contributions of the members.

On March 3, 2018, UTROS in Philippines Inc. unveils its first book “Introduction to Altruism” written by our Founder, Sir Joseph De Temmerman, held on March 3, 2018 (Saturday) at Cityland 8 Function Room Roof Deck, No. 98 Sen. Gil Puyat Ave Makati City as part of our mission to spread awareness towards sustainable development by practicing altruism.

A gift giving initiative of our founder, Sir Joseph De Temmerman, to Dumagat Tribes and the locals of Antipolo on March 5, 2017.

UTROS in Philippines Inc. invited a group of young individuals from University of Antique to participate in a youth discussion about Digital Sociocultural Diversity dubbed as “Embracing Digital Socio-Cultural Diversity to Sustainable Development last April 7, 2018. The discussion – led by the resource speaker, Hon Eric Otayde – caters an interactive discussion on student’s perspective with emphasis on the reforms in educational system and how it affects diversity.

These were the highlights from the 7th Annual Membership Meeting of UTROS members at its principal office on May 12, 2018 which involves planning and approval of the future projects of UTROS and the attendees pledge for their continued support as members.

UTROS members together with the Founder, Mr Joseph De Temmerman, were involved in an interactive strategic planning for four (4) Saturdays – June 30, July 7, July 20, and August 04, 2018 – and were all geared towards ensuring the organization future endeavours maximizing the breadth of their work in formulating and refining the Vision-Mission and the Pillars of the organization.

Last September 27, 2018, UTROS team responded to DSWD request for volunteer to help in repacking of relief goods for people in affected areas by Typhoon Ompong.

UTROS celebrated its annual Year-end party on the 15th of December, 2018 together with the families of its members. T’was a night with tons of laughter and luscious food and it’s the best way to end a fruitful year with hopes to new beginnings and opening doors of opportunities for 2019.

December 27, 2018, UTROS in Philippines Inc. invited young group of people to join in our youth discussion about the influences of today’s modernization to our moral norm. We asked this young group “How modernization influences their way of life? How it influence our moral norms?”

2018 opens a lot of unique opportunities to acquire knowledge for UTROS team in the field of research. We had several exclusive interviews which help us to spread awareness specifically on morality. This year also opens door to become acquainted with different inspiring individuals which increases our network.
